Daniel Schmitt & Co. Presents: 1969 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder

This 1969 Intermeccanica Italia Spyder represents a labor of love where no expense was too great in order to make it the best performing, most luxurious, best appearing in existence. The documentation accompanying this exquisite automobile is as extensive as it is impressive. The Intermeccanica Italia Spyder was an incredibly beautiful, if slightly flawed performer when born, but this car before you represents what happens when every aspect of the a car is engineered for peak performance and luxury, with no regard for expense. All told, the work on this stunning machine has run well over $150,000 and it would be impossible to duplicate for that price today. It even received engineering and modifications from legendary Andy Granatelli Indy Car shop in the 1980's, a claim few cars have never seen a track can make. With only 354 Intermeccanica Italia Spyders produced over its 7-year production life, this is one of the rarest Italian coach-built vehicles in existence.
